Yes yes, and I mean YES. It is entirely possible to have that done, and it is my passion and my mission to help you do just that. My own past has led me to this point; having lived in several countries and witnessing how the food produce has deteriorated over time; endless chemically modified food, preservatives and artificial flavourings, additives, artificial sweeteners, food high in unhealthy fat and refined sugar that have absolutely no nutritional content within them, and I can go on for ages! What happened to simple and clean eating? More of the "back to basics" types of food, that nourish us on every level and keep us strong and healthy.
While younger, I used to think that I was a very healthy eater; energy bars, low fat produce and low sugar food choices were part of my day to day eating habits, whilst not giving much emphasis to food labels at all. This, combined with intense workouts and stress from other areas in my life caused my body to react with increased inflammation .
As a result, I had low energy, fatigue, and a weakened immune system that made me prone to colds and viruses very easily, brain fog and bad sleep. I decided to get myself checked and had some tests done. Apparently my cholesterol levels (specifically LDL) had sky rocketed, and even though that was not the source of my symptoms, doctors advised that I might have to take some medication to help reduce it. I went back home that day and decided that I will not "plaster" my symptoms, and rather wanted to get to the bottom of it all and treat myself efficiently and effectively without medication.
And that is exactly what I did. After much research I started seeing the strong connection between the food I was eating that was "healthy", and that I was sure was harmless, and the markers they left on my health. Through a clean unprocessed diet filled with whole foods, low inflammatory exercise, self-nurture and self-care I transformed and felt like a completely different person. I had embarked on a holistic journey that completely lowered my cholesterol levels back to normal, and step by step also gained my strength, health and energy back. I was determined to reach my full potential, and choosing the right methods while doing so. Through holistic tools and a low inflammatory diet and lifestyle; optimal health & self- confidence were my number one goal & priority.
Yes, life happens, and sometimes we just need a push in the right direction. I believe that we each have unique needs, and no one diet and lifestyle suits us all. Along with the right tools, support, guidance and the power of knowledge, I make it my commitment to help you. Today we are all part of a food culture that is a far cry from healthy, and after much work and research I understood the massive implications of this lifestyle for our body, mind and spirit. I have helped many with my targeted program, both those with or without health issues. It made them feel more energized and confident as a result of us working together, and being able to reach their health goals. I believe in my way and I believe in you.

Evy Khabie is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, having graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City, a member of the IAHC, and founder of Healthy for Me. With a background in international relations, having lived in several different countries and enduring some of life's ups and downs, Evy has always had a strong passion for health and nutrition, as well as for helping people become the best version of themselves.
Evy is committed to continued learning, and is currently focusing mainly on gut health and the microbiome. The gut is often referred to as the "second brain", and is the root of health, vitality and even happiness! Gut health is a relatively new topic in the health world, and new findings are constantly being made as to this organ's effect on everything from our immune system, digestive issues like IBS or IBD, blood sugar, and hormone imbalances, to sleep, mood and stress levels. Achieving balance in the gut microbiome results in a balanced eco system in our body, therefore positively impacting all other organs in our body, as well as our mental health.
